#[SPZ2-5119][1.0.0-modding-beta-2] Game size defaults to 1280x720 and can't be changed.

I've updated the beta to 1.0.0-modding-beta-3 - the bug should be fixed there, could you confirm? ๐
Still an issue.
As long as the game is in windowed mode it will force a change to 1280x720 once it gets past the first screens (tobspr/Publishing/Federal Ministry).
I did not run into this issue in 1.0.0-modding-beta-3
(windows 11)
(specifically the game did not default to 1280x720 when in fullscreen mode (which is why I didn't run into it))
It's two issues by the looks of it.
First is the screen going black with the ability to click on things, and the need to forcibly exit the game.
Second is the game changing to 1280x720 if in windowed mode.
I fiddled with it more thoroughly and can not get anything such as described to happen. (dx11 and dx12)
So if you do the following:
- Go into the game and change it to windowed, and have a resolution that is 1920x1080.
- Restart
- Press ESC to skip the intro screens.
It doesn't change to 1280x720?
Yes it does change to 1280x720.
Nothing about the screen going black though.
Cool. Same. You had me worried for a moment ๐
When I tried launching in windowed mode I think I had set the resolution to 1280x720 before I quitted so it worked as expected ๐
What's the saying? A broken clock is accurate 2 times a day? ๐

Thanks for the report. There appears that two issues going on. First one (black screen) I think @violet pelican fixed (which if you could confirm that would be appreciated) and the other is the resolution changing to 1280x720 soon after starting if the game is set to windowed mode. The latter is what the internal ticket is for.
Confirmed: New Window'd resolution change now sticks through a session. Quitting to desktop and restarting: It starts in new resolution, but reverts back to 1280x720. ๐ค
Feels like safe mode is accidentally always activated ๐ the graphic settings don't go down though right?
Before:
After restarting:
hm yeah if it was --safe-mode it'd reset it to minimal I believe
