This might just be a me thing but I much prefer the challenge of creating the most efficient factory for a specific but difficult shape rather than making one massive bloated MAM to do everything for me.

once the MAM is done its just done, there isn't much more to do other than AFK once its made and I feel that the gameplay loop would benifit from an alternate endgame.

very much yes. the only reason I play shapez2 right now is to use it as a fairly effective circuit simulator
