Thank you for your report @ebon holly ! 😄
We've had some reports of transparent shapes on linux. Would you happen to be running the game version in Vulkan or in dx11?
It would be very helpful if you could share your player.log file
Hi! 👋
I'm experiencing the "transparent or invisible shapes" issue on Linux.
- I'm running the native Linux version (no Proton).
- API: OpenGL 4.5 (Core)
- GPU: AMD TURKS (Radeon HD 6750M)
- Driver: Mesa 23.2.1, LLVM 15.0.7
- OS: Ubuntu 22.04 LTS
- Command line: --force-glcore (also tried --force-opengl and Mesa overrides)
The game launches fine, runs around 10–15 FPS, but all shape colors in the UI appear invisible or red.
I've attached my Player.log file below for reference.
Thank you! 🙂
Thank you for that! I'll ping the team on my side to give you the best solution to this issue 🙂
Update from the team: OpenGL has this bug for shapes rendered to a texture (for UI elements)
The current solution is to run the game with Vulkan (which should be the default unless the drivers are missing or the hardware is old)
We do have it listed on the troubleshooting Notion page: https://www.notion.so/tobspr-games/Troubleshooting-Public-8cb38e3b613b47ff86f527d1afad6a09?source=copy_link#99821a500eb2498fae86f8db51211f7c
