First time this has happened (over many games played). These two little sections of space belt showed up (see picture) and I cannot delete them. I didn't place them, but did have other structures here that I removed after I no longer needed them. These two appeared and are somewhat greyed out. Cannot delete them or build over them.

That looks very similar to an experience I've had many times. I delete a large structure, and end up leaving a couple belts or pipes on a different level (usually 0, in my case). For me, shifting down does allow me to select and delete them.

Thanks, that's exactly what the issue was. The "ghost" belts were a result of the original belt crossing another one (and dropping underneath it). When deleted, the lower portion wasn't getting erased.
