do you have a screenshot of what's to the right in the milestones screen ?
[0.1.1] Unable to claim Operator Badge after Milestone 3
Unable to scroll to the right. That's the edge of the screen
Clicking the arrow does nothing.
then the bug is that you can't scroll right, as the orange box partially visible at the right of your screenshot is what allows you to claim your operator badge
Probably? From a pure user perspective, I'm unable to get to where I can claim the badge - therefore, badge unclaimable. shrug
[yes, I've done software development in the past and I understand thatthe issue is I can't get there and it's probably a UI problem. Buuut... the ultimate issue is that I can't progress.]
Just found a work around
Simultaneously clicking left and right buttons allows scrolling. No information otherwise found on how to do this, though.
Not sure if this counts as a "true" bug then, or just a UI issue with not allowing the arrow to be clicked to automatically scroll?
I'm not sure that arrow is supposed to be clickable, it seems like an indicator that the progression continues
Hmm ok. A/D didn't scroll, which was sort of what I'd expected? Right+left click to scroll wasn't quite obvious?
using left click alone is supposed to work, so the fact that you also have to use right click is a bug
Urk? ... yeah, looks like I could scroll with just left click to grab it, but - again - it's not intuitive from the way the game screen works? I would've expected A/D to work, tbh. Either that or clicking the arrow (or some other way to "jump to latest"?).
you can find posts in #💡suggestions about having A/D for scrolling in menus
I'm unable to see any posts in that channel? Only thing showing there is the "go off-site for it".
yeah I mean in the suggestions website
Thank you for your report @violet grail ! 😄
I seem to be able to scroll to the side by holding left click on the provided save on both latest release on steam and internal master. Would you mind checking if that's the case? 🙂
Right. The issue (ultimately?) is that there's no indication that's the correct way to do it? I was able to click-and-drag to move the screen (/ scroll), but it's not readily apparent it's possible to do so.
So it's a readability issue that's being reported in this case, correct? Not a functional issue
Yeah, I'd say so. Nothing to that point has given an indication it's possible to scroll that way, so it was confusing. And I'd tried A/D and arrow scrolling. Honestly never even occurred to "click-and-scroll".
