So I looked at it and the prediction is indeed behaving strangely, I hope OP is not mad at me hijacking his thread 🙂
So in the first two pictures, the prediction is showing up or disappearing depending where the cursor is. Cursor on the right side, prediction is visible, cursor on the left side, prediction on the right side is disappearing.
Aaaand for some forms, there is no prediction at all
in the other three pictures, I removed a painter and the prediction of a different belt (not connected to removed painter) was gone

Both cases seem to be duplicate
First save seems to be duplicated by https://discord.com/channels/1000343719314198548/1374715556309110804 where platforms need to be right after unloaders for previews as in the image
Second save dupes #1384054632980025394 in which belts close to painter entrance prevents preview, which can be undone by deleting and rebuilding one belt
This might be the case as well for OP, but would like some confirmation if that's the case

And have you tried the cursor thingie? Where preview shows up or disappears depending on the cursor position? (To bad no cursors in the screenshots)
