(Not sure if this constitutes a full-on bug report but we're going for it)

Shapes on hidden layers (Upper floors hidden) are occasionally "clipping" through the belt above and showing up for a few seconds after being caught by a belt catcher launched from a space belt.

#

After reloading the save file(Not relaunching), it seems to have fixed itself - (The file was only open for an hour or two before the bug started happening).

Thank you for your report @kindred gyro ! 😄

Did you encounter this issue recently again?

It seems to have something to do with the shapes sitting in between the belt catcher and either a belt launcher or a conveyor belt after being launched from a space belt
(This may also work with other types of belts, I haven't tested them)

It's possible that the game is registering the shape as being on both the catcher and the other belt at the same time.

It seems to work on both floor 2 and 3, with the shapes wrongfully showing up on both lower floors when they are on floor 3

After further testing, it seems to only happen when the shapes are at a specific spacing - any conveyor belt that can either send shapes forward or to the side(splitter, item filter, etc.) seems to force the spacing required no mater how long the belt goes until reaching it.
This spacing also occurs when a belt launcher is anywhere along the belt, although it requires a belt catcher as well.

I just checked - it seems to only happen when launched from a space belt, just launching between two space platforms does not make the shapes appear through the hidden layers
