sending shapes on layer 1, sending signals on layer 3, nothing is recieved, but it's still shown as mixed. sending them on different lines is shown as sender. recieving end is the same
you can find it in the savegame at -6|A

The "?" means it has more then only belts or wires or fluid in/outputs on 1 exit of the notch. This also happen if input/output are both ways
Thought it was intended this way....

i interpreted it as send/recive is it only sends/recives stuff, wires, fluids and/or shapes, and mixed is it's sennding and recieving

Oke tested also on an older version (0.0.9-XMAS on the left, 0.1.0-PRE8-RC1 on the right) it seams they changed something as in the XMAS version only the pipe did it, and on the PRE8 they do it all...
