Sometimes shape previews are disappearing, and it seems to happen mostly when different shapes move across to another platform above eachother. When similar shapes are above eachother they keep working. After the stacker the shape preview disappears.

Turns out after some more testing that it's the stacker that breaks the preview. When I stack on the same platform, as long as I hold the stacker in my cursor the preview shows, as soon as I place it it disappears.

We've added a new feature in which the previews will not show if the cursor is further than 16 squares away from were it should appear? Would you be willing to record a video of the issue if this is not the case? 🙂

The shapes show similarities to each other. If they came from the same miner and then a space belt split them to a different entry point and then the shapes are rejoined using a stacker then it could be:

This shows the same issue. The stacked preview shape not working unless there is a potential placement of a belt piece, because the shapes come from the same origin point and are using a space belt to split the parts before rejoining them after painting them:
