#[SPZ2-4670] [0.1.0-PRE7-RC1] Placing a wire transmitter over an existing transmitter in a notch.

This is a minor slowdown. Happens when after you paste a platform with transmitters and want to quickly add the corresponding receiver. It's also the same with existing recievers and missing transmitters in the other platform. If this is intended new behaviour, can we get the old behaviour back as a shift click or something?

Hi @dire depot !
Thank you for your report! ๐
This is by design. Because we separated transmitter and receivers as different entities the blueprint created with Ctrl + C is individual for receivers and transmitters, and is not copying both. This was a concession to allow players to drag the receiver to their desired position.
As an alternative, you should now be able to quickly select the wires and it will automatically create the receiver on the other end ๐
Yes. But if placing a wire in a notch does it automatically then why can't placing a transmitter in a notch do it automatically as well?
But shift clicking a wire overtop a transmitter gets it to place the missing receiver. A little counterintuitive but at least it's a workaround.
The system for placing transmitters and receivers (same system used for launchers) was revamped so that by placing one manually you now have to drag before placing to place the other end. This new modification in the code has forced to affect the notches as well, which were already automated by the simple wire
Nevertheless I took some time and checked with the dev team. It seems that we were able to make an exception for that specific situation described here and it should be fixed on the next update ๐
