Steps to reproduce:

  1. Click on one of the toolbar tabs that isn't blueprints
  2. Make a selection and click save blueprint
  3. Save the blueprint to an existing folder which you have saved to the blueprint toolbar

Results:
The original tab you had open along with the blueprint tab are now both open and overlapping. The issue is resolved after clicking on the blueprint tab.
