Accidentally discovered that pressing Tilde and number keys at the same time (soft locks?) causes the screen to go purple.
during the bugged screen, the game seems to ignore all keyboard inputs for in game commands ( [ESC] for pause menu, [H] for home, ECT...), but the HUD buttons still work when clicked.
windows still seems to recognize commands (Alt F4 and Ctrl Alt Del). Seems to fix itself if exiting to game menu, and re-entering save {{image 1}}

method of replicating bug: whilst in save, press Tilde (~) and several number buttons at the same time. may take multiple attempts to replicate but seems to eventually happen...

settings and hardware did not seem to affect bug as tested on different settings and devices before report was made.
both systems used were Windows 11 PCs.
(My specs in case its important...) (Specs unavailable for second device other than operating system, Windows 11)

Additional bug, probably relates to primary bug listed in post: if an info panel that shows render of building is open when the screen goes purple (EX. stacker), then rendered building appears when opening game pause menu via cog in corner of screen {{Image 2}}. does not occur under normal gameplay.

Hi @opaque grove !

Thank you for your report! 😄

The tilde key is used to switch between the toolbar categories, and the numbers individually select the sub-category. It seems that pressing both at the same time create an exception which leaves the screen in the void. Seems that exiting space view mode (default key 'Spacebar') fixes this

I've created a ticket in our internal system for further investigation 🙂
