Nice if you could control blocks with circuits

It would be really nice if you could control blocks with circuits, something like adding timers to blocks or to make circuits execute the operation that the block is supposed to.
Also it would be really nice to read contents of machines.

With this people can make much more compact designs, and for me a new thing to play around with 🙂

Like simulate buildings?

Because belt filters exist, and can be used to allow or disallow things

Or do I not get what you mean
