Those circle shape indicators on the second floor shouldn't be appearing there. As you can see, there is nothing coming there through the space belts.

That space belt is split two branches: the first branch, which is the one shown in the image, only has that first floor of squares in the four belts.

The second branch goes to another platform and sends half of those same squares on the first floor AND those 3/4 circle shapes. The logic is confused in this situation and is showing the indicator in all branches of the space belt (hope that makes sense).

That structure doesn't exist anymore, but I was able to reproduce it again easily. Let me try to clarify: the bug happens if a Space Belt has a branch with "Shape 1" that goes to "Platform 1" , and a second branch that gets "Shape 2" (by merging itself with another belt that is bringing that "Shape 2") and delivers both "Shape 1" and "Shape 2" to the "Platform 2".

In this situation, "Shape 2" is wrongly appearing in the belt preview on "Platform 1", as if it was also being delivered there.

In this image, the blue shape is "Shape 1" and the half-circle is "Shape 2"

Zooming into that platform in the image, you can see that the game thinks that the half-circle is being delivered there, but it is not. It is joining the belt further down the other space belt's branch.

From what I understand the space belts are not showing the preview when multiple shapes are going down the same line. This has been reported internally before but no other post has been linked to the issue. I'll be linking the ticket to this post so that it gets picked up here after a fix is in place.

No, that's not what my issue is! The preview in the "normal belt" on the platform is wrongly showing a shape that is not going there at all. The shape being wrongly shown is joining the space belt further along in another branch and that is bugging out the preview on platforms that come from before that shape joins.

My mistake, I misunderstood which platform was the one affected, but I see it now. The platform that is not getting the red semicircles is getting a preview of the red semicircles which are never going to reach there. Did I get it right?

I encountered the same bug. I think it has something to do with the shape preview's inability to recognize the upstream and downstream connections of the space belt when predicting. As shown in the second picture, as long as something (A, B and C) is input into the connected space belt system, no matter where the input position is, no matter how the space belt is connected, all the output positions of the whole belt system will have the shape preview of all shapes.
