#Bug/Oversight | When rotating the camera with the mouse, it also moves the cursor.

When holding down the button to rotate the mouse with the camera, the mouse input still moves the cursor as well. As you rotate further, the cursor eventually hits the edge of the screen, preventing you from rotating further.

You have to let go of the camera button, return the cursor to the center of the screen, and then hold it down again to continue rotating, which is rather annoying. I have tried doing this with multiple hotkeys and the behavior remains the same.

I'm assuming this is unintended behavor and will be fixed at some point. This would be a HUGE quality of life improvement for me, personally!

Loving the game though! Thanks y'all!

how many times do you want to spin it?

#

if spinning from center of screen it seems to be able to go 180 either way, which is full 360

#

maybe you'd just prefer the sensitivity maxed out?

Hey, thanks for the response.

I tried every combination of settings I could think of before I even posted the bug report.

Traditionally, for normal human beings (lol), once you start holding the "camera button", the cursor disappears and the mouse inputs are strictly informing the camera at that time, nothing else. Then, when you let go of the camera button, the cursor appears again, right where you left it.

I will make a video tomorrow to show you what I mean. Bit late in the game for that tonight xD

I know what you mean, just seems odd that you need it

#

I think the functionality is fine

#

this seems more like a suggestion than a bug.

I have seen other people also complain about this into the void on Reddit or Steam forums or whatever, so I'm not a total lunatic lol.

And yeah, it's not a bug, per se. That's why I put "oversight/bug" lol, I wasn't sure if I could just whine about QoL stuff lol. But this isn't just one weird nerd thing; I promise you that there are dozens of us xD

If I can get 50 signatures from real players, will you guys look into it?

I love the game so much already and want it to be even better. This tiny thing is like my biggest issue. And I'm sure it's small potatoes on the master list of stuff that you guys are working on, but it's a small change that would make BIG HAPPY for a lot of dorks like me.

Thank you! I literally just started playing yesterday, so I apologize if I did this the wrong way. I was following the in-game instructions vis-a-vis feedback. I don't do a lot of EA games, but when I do, it's because I believe in/have hope for the finished product and want to be a part of making it totally awesome.

Video incoming.

My apologies, I forgot to turn my mic on during the recording. Probably for the best. My voice is that of a grizzled lumberjack who did a mouthwash of boiling asphalt. Like Tom Waits.

Anyways though, you'll see in the video, once the cursor hits the edge of the screen (cursor shouldn't be on the screen at all when you are rotating cam), you just cant go any further, and it's devastating.

#

If need be, I can re-record and send one with some commentary. But I'm sure y'all can read between the lines on this one.

Also, I'd be remiss to not mention it: I am FLOORED by your quick response to address the stuff that your fans are bringing to your attention. Amazing, you just don't see it these days. I am proud and happy to support your game.

thanks, but Louoau and I are not involved with the dev team, we simply help out the discord community here.
Someone from the dev team will eventually review all these bugs and triage them appropriately tho.
