I searched for this bug report, and did not find it reported... Sorry if it's a duplicate! I did find [this bug](#1279000473944195093 message) which is similar but involves jumps so it's not the same bug. Also, if this is intended behavior, feel free to close this thread! I'm already brainstorming ideas to use this intentionally...

What's happening: When a Train on the underside arrives at a 3 way intersection, where the left and right are "Official Paths" and the middle is "Non-Official", it will pick the middle path.

Steps to reproduce: Create this scenario with 2 stations in Screenshot (A). Then the trains will end up on the left side, even though there is no white "Official Path" there

Version: 0.0.8-RC3

What should happen: I would assume that the trains would systematically pick one of the Official Paths when they reach the intersection. For example, in Screenshot (B) both trains always pick the top path

Other effects... This can result in Trains not going home, as you can see in Screenshot (C)

This is how trains work, when underneathah a rail they will only go forwards. The in game guide explains this

Here is a scenario in which the train will turn when underneath a rail, so that's not totally true

Well damn, that spoils my paint train system plans 😛

Thankfully, rails don't cost anything

Cool, this thread can be closed in lieu of the Knowledge Panel being updated

Btw here's another more comprehensive example: The green train will turn since it only has one return path but none of the two red trains will since they both pick the straight path when they return through the junction.
