#Off-screen timing issues

I'm not sure how it happens, but suspect logic issues in the wiring or items disappearing from belts, which can cause the same effect.

The symptom is, the final output is less than full belts, so when I go back to look for the problem, I see (image 1), bad parts coming off the line (and getting trashed) from the upstream stackers. But after staying in the area for a minute, it works perfectly again (Image 2). I have gone away and come back several times, so the problem is constantly repeated itself.

The timing of this it is, if shapes going into a stacker detect nothing coming from the other side, they will continue on as a single, and not wait at the stacker.

I think there's a lot of trouble with off-screen building. There's so much simulation going on with larger factories the game just can't keep up. Team is working on it for sure.

I saw the ambitious million building goal.. This is from a 300k building setup, with some pretty beefy hardware (no lag, except during save game operations).. this was for reference.

ATM Tobs says that 500k is the practical limit, but far below that we're seeing issues off screen. Early yet in EA, so I'm sure they'll get a handle on it. Good to get these reports though in case it's something new.

its interesting that I thought this problem just got a lot worse. It turns out I recently switched to windowed mode for quicker use of other things. I just switched back to full screen mode it is is definitely less of a problem.
