I know this may seem a silly and somewhat pointless question but I was very curious. The other shape codes correspond with their name Ie. C for circles, R for rectangles, S for Star. Even P for pin and c for crystals all makes sense. But Its W for diamonds, and there isn't a conflicting thing that would need a D in the shape codes.

the diamond shape replaced the windmill shape from shapez 1, they didnt change the code for it probably so its less work for them

yes they're a special kind of rectangle, but the R makes sense in the code
