All the three train wagons look to similar at first glance.
Additionally the two loaders should not look the same either.
Solution:
Fluid wagon and fluid loader should look like a glass tanks.
Shape wagon and loader should stay the same
Filler wagon should look like an empty carriage. (Imagine a train in real life how some have shipping containers and some are just empty slates?)

Just because the game is WIP doesn’t mean you can assume everything will change.
The point of these posts is to discuss things and prioritize them.
If no one says anything about train visuals, then it’s more logical to think that trains will not be updated.

i would put more money on my guess than your "but what if"
ive been here for a long time and see the devs talk about many things, INCLUDING that trains are early WIP and still very much not settled on, in terms of behaviors and visuals
if you're so inclined, you can go search through questions and feedback where ive responded, and in EVERY CASE where a developer also responded, they basically echo'd exactly what i said 1:1
of course, im not a dev for the game, but i do a pretty good job at saying whats known/confirmed, whats reasonable to expect, and whats currently undecided upon

It was just the way you worded it sounded like an everyday opinion.
For example: I could look at anything in a game and with almost certain tell you if something is WIP without confirmation from the devs.
Simply saying
“Devs said trains are WIP, id be shocked if the visuals werent improved later”
Then I would have responded much differently.
