Even when one output only outputs the empty shape there's still a conflict shown when the output is blocked.

#

Here the same situation without the conflict signs to make the empty shape better visible.

The two systems are disconnected and very different, it's not really feasible to join the two for this. Especially if it's part of a wire chain where predictions are canceled anyway

Would it be possible to have a system to ignore a specific warning without turning them off completely?

Sounds like a solid idea to share on the #💡suggestions website - not being a dev I can't really say, but I expect that would be relatively doable. It does invite followup questions though, namely how would you go about implementing that in the UI without things becoming overly cluttered 😅

Will do! Yes, I also don't have a good idea UI-wise, that sounds indeed difficult.

It's also why trains are so relatively simple compared with other factory games

I'm sometimes very surprised how well the prediction system works indeed.

#

Anyway, thanks for the super quick responses!

Thanks for the feedback. We identified some obvious issues with the output warnings but also have to consider all edge cases. I can understand it is visually not pleasing to see these blockers all over the place, despite eveything working as expected.
