I've had a similar issue, also MacOS. sometimes tabbing in/out fixes the issue

Hmm does this happen with other mice for other users or specifically with the magic mouse?

I am also curious what happens if the game is in borderless mode or windowed mode. Does that fix the issue?

Especially since it seems to happen random, I am not sure what causes this.
