In hexagonal mode the rotator is labeled as a 90 degree rotation however it only rotates 60 degrees

its known, but the game currently doesnt properly handle dynamic translations that would be required for this

the implied behavior is generally pretty clear, and its extremely easy to test (not to mention you test it almost immediately into the milestones)
