#[0.0.8-rc3] Fluid gates have less throughput than indicated

As stated. In my case, I use 4 Fluid gates to gate the input of one layer of space pipe to an other space pipe. (In the image, there are 7 full 3 layer inputs of which only one is on at a time, one per color and only one full 3 layer output.)
The issue is that the input is stagnating and the output is undersupplied. but I use one gate per fluid thrower on one side.

The wire logic is correct, I checked that already

Or could it be that space pipes are faster than the fluid throwers can do?

Fluid gates work at about 80% efficiency when offscreen right now, I believe that's a tracked bug somewhere

this seems to also happen onscreen (had the platform in the picture on screen for quite a while when I discovered it)
