Summary

On Linux, when clicking on a button, the click has effect only on a specific part of the button. Clicking elsewhere on the button has no effect. This is reflected by the mouseover highlight of the button which is only active when the mouse is over the part of the button accepting the click. See enclosed screen captures.

System Information

OS: Ubuntu 24.04 LTS
Desktop: Gnome 46
Graphic Server: X11
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-Core, 24x2164 Mhz
RAM: 32 GB DDR5
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060, 32 GB VRAM
Graphic API: Vulkan 1.1.0

Game Information

Version: 0.0.08-rc3
Platform: Steam

Additional Informations

Issue is present on all buttons, regardless of their dimensions or placement. The clickable part of the button seems to depend on the button location on the screen, but I cannot confirm this 100%; additional tests would be required.

Does it persist after restarting the game/computer?

Rebooted; yes it does persist.

Yeah, not a single button in the UI does this for me

Not a huge fan of asking this, but do you have a different desktop environment/window manager you can try?
