Unity crashes, I've tried using 0.0.7, as well as 0.0.8-rc2, both with Windows Exploit Protection off, and trying to use DX11, DX12, and Vulkan. I was able to play yesterday without any issues using 0.0.8 (no RC), saved and closed the game. Then come this morning, 0.0.8-RC2 was available, updated, Unity Crash. Spent 30+ minutes trying everything I could, with the exception of uninstalling and reinstall, which is my next step. No changes in Windows as I left my PC running, albit locked.

Since my original post, I have rebooted my machine, as well as verified the integrity of the game files in Steam, no change. I am currently uninstaling and reinstalling.
Uninstall and reinstall did not help. I repaired Visual C++ (32 and 64 bit) installs that the Steamworks Common Redistributables installs if not already installed, and this didn't work either.
I also tried 0.0.7, and 0.0.8-RC2, both crashed.
I can see the error.
Seems to be directX 11.
Could you try going to the launch options DX12 or Vulkan?

As stated in initial sentence, I have tried DX12 and Vulkan multiple times with no change. However, to confirm again, I checked just now with both versions, all 3 ways, and no change. This includes 0.0.7 and 0.0.8-RC2.

Hi, I donโt have much knowledge about these stuff. Butt when this happens to me I increase the amount of RAM that the program can use. Maybe that can help.
This is happening before even clicking on 'Play' or 'Continue' on the main screen. I could see this if I was in the game, which I've seen take up to almost 6 GB on my machine so far.
How much RAM do you have?

Ye, so the standard is half of your total RAM so shapez 2 can use 8 gb, meaning that if it takes more that 8 gb it crashes
Also, I was playing just fine yesterday, before upgrading 0.0.8RC2.
Since then, I can't get anything to work.
Did you save and exit normally (not using alt+f4 or something like that)

I won't publicly post my save until the Supporter Edition Loop and Twister tracks are disabled from accounts that are not supposed to have them. A bug was shared last week that if a non-Supporter Edition account loads the save game from a Supporter Edition, the Loop and Twister tracks can be copy/pasted.
And I like to use the loops and twists, because well, I paid for them, and I can... ๐
But this issue doesn't effect playing a save, it effects launching the the game. I can't even click on 'Play' or 'Continue' when they show up, if that screen even ends up loading.
So my save is irrelevant at this time.

And it seems I have the same exact driver too (I'd still have to check tho, as my computer isn't on)
I'm wondering if it's the driver at that point

Vulkan: no log
bruh they realy kept the assets? now i wonder if the demo had everything the full verson has
I have this exact same error. The problem seems to be related in some way with d3d11.dll in System32
I checked up, and the driver is NOT the same
The one on the log file i saw was 630 while mine is 620
Interesting to note that all of the people talking about this issue are on intel hd 500 or 600
i made an issue earlier about a different? issue that also occurs only on these graphics
Strange enough, this issue still occurs even if I stream the game from a machine that the game runs on.

(You know they can just make an update delete them on save load right?)
