I use windows remote desktop to connect to my workstation to play some games in my living room. I didn't verify that this is exclusively an issue when remoting in, but that is a major difference in my setup compared to normal.
First time playing, I launched via the default launch option (didn't specify directx or vulcan), and started a new game under the default difficulty and tutorial level. After the first prompt to rotate then place down the collectors, I was unable to rotate by pressing R. I tried plugging in an external keyboard to see if it was an issue with my keyboard, but still didn't work. I did verify that my keyboard was working in external applications.
After that, I tried closing to desktop and relaunching, then pressed continue to load my level. I was still unable to press R to rotate. I tried changing my keybind in settings, and none of my character or number key presses registered. The only key that triggered a potential change was the escape character which replaced the text with esc indicating it worked.
I look forward to being able to play Shapez 2, but for the time being I refunded the game since it isn't playable on my current setup.
