i am using directx12.
task manager is required to kill the process.

DATA IS STILL SAVED, this bug doesn't cause data loss, just a minor annoyance

I reported a similar bug, I found if you exit to main menu, then quit all is well. If you just exit from the level you are playing, then the hang happens.

This is a known issue, you can disable the analytics and see if that prevents from crashing on exit. The game does lag for a moment when you save (also during auto save), depending on the size of your savegame this may take longer.
