i finaly saw it. its in the build menu next to the regular belt. it probably should change to be like belt layers, its confusing when they do the same thing differntly

#

But still, thanks

1 space belt is just 12 belts in a trenchcoat

yes im aware, but you can have 2 space belts in the same place like normal belts. its layers, but not handled as layers

#

and has more limitations

tawny steeple
#

i think youre over thinking something

#

you cannot have more than 2 space belts in the same place, that will clog/backup the same way if you tried to funnel 2 belts into each other

#

it is handled exactly as floors, the 12 inputs and the 12 outputs are 1:1 with no mixing

this, this here. this is what ime talking about that i was trying to figure out. and what i was saying is i feel as though this would be more intuitive it it was layers like normal belts

tawny steeple
#

dont think of those as floors, because you cant really do anything with them

#

thats just a visualization for tunnels

noble wasp
#

your still not on the same page

#

i understand that that is how it works. but its frustrating, and it took way to long to figure out that this was like old tunnles from the first game

#

and now im expressing an opionion that it should be more like layers as it would make more sinse

layers = shapes

#

floors only exist for the building, everything at the foundation/island scale is the one floor

noble wasp
#

you dont have to explain it to me

#

i know, i see now.

consistent terms are both helpful and important

all im saying is the space belts are unintuitive
