Left to right.

Compact Rotator, Combat Half destroyer, Compact stacker, Half Combiner.

Half Combiner takes an input with the east side destroyed. It then rotates the given input and combines into a symmetrical shape. Every 2 inputs will be 1 output. 2 of these are required for a belt containing halves at max speed.

Ratios explained. Currently at level 2 for belts, cutting, and stacking.

4 Extractors can feed 1 belt. (22.5/90 = ~1/4)
Now you do your math based on a max belt.

2 Rotators take 1 max belt. (452/90 = 1)
3 Cutters take 1 max belt (30
30/90 = 1)
6 Stackers take 1 max belt (15*6/90 = 1)

Not sure of ratios change latter in the game while levels are equal. But this should let you do everything you want in bulk. Along with the divider and combiner, this should handle the bulk of pre painting game.

these are all quite full of whitespace that drastically increases the footprint

Bent stackers need to be unlocked. The middle white space is deliberate to allow for routing if needed. You are right about the horizontal X's.

Bent Stackers in 99% of cases is a straight upgrade to the the straight stacker
