#Game Non Responsive when Quitting to Desktop

I noticed when I save and then quit, the game hangs and does not properly close. It then goes not responsive and opaque and then needs force closing.

Specs:
Windows 11 24H2 latest updates
AMD Ryzen 5800x3D
32 Gb DDR4 3200 memory
AMD Rx6750XT
Game is stored on a Samsung SSD
Dx12 mode

I think it has nothing to do with the cpu and ram

Same for me on windows 11. Can't minimize the game as well. have to force shut off my pc to close the game.

Same for me. It’s not possible to open taskmgr to stop progress. Only option is to power down system.
Only Steam and Shapes 2 are open.

It’s now for the 4 time. For me it’s happened if I play the came for more then 3 hours. When I close it earlier it closes fine.

went to 0.0.8 and didnt happen for a while, but it has since happened again (more info below)

0.0.7 yes, happened to me, i have anonymous reporting on and my internet went down in the middle of my play session. game hung on exit. does not happen if connection stays up all the time.

If the game freezes upon exiting to desktop (from a save game directly), try disabling the Analytics setting via the ingame menu under general settings. This should fix the crashing. Alternatively exiting to the main menu first and then exiting is also a possible workaround.
