#Paint Catcher exceeds stated 1,200 L/min throughput

The paint catcher appears to be exceeding the 1,200 L/min stated througput and able to catch all 4,800 L/min of a space pipe lane. See attached video clip of a factory that should not be painting at full throughput with only one paint catcher.

Hey there. The fluid catcher has a providing speed of 1200 L/min, which can be upgraded to up to 1800 L/min. It has no receiving limit, but should be limited by the amount of fluid forwarded/provided

What you found appears to be a bug in the simulation

Can you still reproduce it? If so, can you provide the savegame or the a blueprint containing the painting station?

i dont think its a simulation bug, just that a fluid catcher can catch 3x the fluid that a launcher can send (aka enough for 12 painers)
since they have higher painter upgrades, that looks like 4 belts, but its only 3 belts with equal upgrades

Hey, thanks for the blueprint. With it, it was quite easy to check the issue. ๐Ÿ™‚

I found an issue when calculating the providing flow. It would generate a value far higher than the actual intended flow for all buildings. In the case of the catcher, it would not limit the flow and just output all possible fluid (which can be higher when connected to a space pipe).

I added the fix for the 0.0.8 release
