Just wanted to report a major graphical glitch on MacOS, oddly enough the game itself runs perfectly smoothly, not even lag, its just some major UI and object errors.

#

Most objects have that distortion, and the UI is very darkened

#

drive link to a screen recording of it

#

again the game itself function smoothly, and if i build things nothing crashes, breaks, lags or otherwise underperforms

#

its very amusing more than anything lol.

#

ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling twice, as well as every configuration of graphics i can think of

#

another user having the same issue

#

idk if mine will get deleted? i think we posted at like literally a minute apart lol, probably as we were both typing at once

#

if mine does get deleted can i be tagged in the other one when fixed?

Also running into this issue as well on MacOs. I noticed it on the Main Menu screen. When I played the tutorial I didn't see any graphical issues the whole time and ran really smooth. As as soon as I switch my factory over to normal, I experience this whenever I pan around the screen. It does not happen when I am zoomed out.

Could you try running it with -force-glcore? Also, seems very much like a driver issue :/

Could you try on 0.0.8 if that resolves it? #✨updates

I'm really sorry for the people experiencing this, and obviously it needs to be fixed, but this is hilarious and I love it

as stated in the post it literally doesn’t affect performance at all, the graphics just decide to have a bocchi moment sometimes

Is it completely fixed in 0.0.8 or just reduced to happen "sometimes"?

The black text can be "fixed" but it may introduce other visual issues:
This only seems to affect Macs with AMD GPUs when running under Metal. You can try running the game with --force-glcore but there are other known graphical issues with this (if you see HUGE graphical bugs, try turning down both the “anti-aliasing” and “shader quality” options to the lowest)

ill get back to you on that tomorrow prob, bit busy today

#

sorry for the delayed response

will the command fix the dark text you think?
