#Swappers

it's 4 with 2 belts of inputs and 2 of outputs
It says buildings, not inputs (each building has 2 inputs), the stacker says 6 which is the amount of building required, not the amount of inputs (6 buildings have 12 inputs).
yeah but youre inputting 2 belts into that
2 belts * 6 = 12 inputs
this math is mathing
No it’s not!! We only need 2 BUILDINGS to saturate one belt, the tool tip says building, not inputs if it said inputs then yes we would need 4
youre using 2 buildings to consume all of the input from half a belt
because youre splitting the same belt in half to fill both inputs
similarly, you only need 3 straight stackers to fully process 1 belt if you use the same belt for the top AND bottom
it is exactly the same logic, but because the inputs are contiguous youre thinking about it in a different way
the math maths
6 stackers do work with 2 full belts of inputs (one full belt of each input)--so it's the same here, as the two inputs of a swapper are supposed to be different (otherwise it's useless)
