#[0.0.7] Game freezes when Thunderbird tells me that I got an email

I play on two monitors. Shapez is full screen on the main monitor. I receive an email and Thunderbird does a popup on the main screen. Usually Shapez will just go to icon mode (so I see my desktop again), but this time the popup was on top of the Shapez screen and caused the game to freeze (music still playing). Couldn't kill it from the tool bar (on 2nd screen) and all apps which had their windows on main screen didn't show when I alt-tabbed into them. Taskmanager also opened up on main screen "behind" the game, so I couldn't kill the process either. I had to log out via ctrl-alt-del.

I assume you launched with DirectX 11?
It will likely work using Vulkan.
Can you send the player.log after that crash happens?

You can find the file here:
Windows: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\tobspr Games\shapez 2\Player.log
macOS: ~/Library/Logs/tobspr Games/shapez 2/Player.log
Linux: ~/.config/unity3d/tobspr Games/shapez 2/Player.log

Could you try using Vulkan? There should be a selection when you launch the game

there was when I first started the game, but now the question isn't asked any more

Maybe you dismissed it, I think if you right click the game you can reenable it

according to the log, it was on DirectX 11, didn't crash in the last 40 minutes
