#pasting and placing this bp freezes and then crashes the game

it's a bp that has been converted using the loupaus bp converter
it was originally a txt document so i modified a spz2bp i already had by deleting its bp text and pasted mine in.
thats the only weird things about it
other bps converted by the bp converter works flawlessly

@agile prairie thought i might ping you aswell. i was able to to redo the bp by deleting islands that only had a producer going into a trashcan. after deleting those islands and redoing the entire bp convert thing it worked

Can you reproduce the Crash and send the player log file?
I tried the attached Blueprint but was able to load it into the Library and place without any issues.

also what im doing is actually opening the file as a txt document and pasting the bp code with ctrl v

well you were not supposed to copy the text, you should add the file via library and that does not cause any issue. Manipulating the text files obvioulsy is not part of the player experience, but I can reprodce the bug with your way of copying the text out of the file.

afaik the blueprint codes inside files are the same as when directly pasted ingame and in this case they had a file for the blueprint, but if they got the blueprint via text I would think pasting the blueprint code ingame would be part of the player experience and they wouldn't be expected to put it inside a file ?

Yeah good point, I agree , the copy and paste to/from clipboard is a feature.
What the user reported was fiddling around with the file text and converting it to newer version. The blueprint file above was version 1030 and we are at 1090 or something like that.
So I guess the converter caused the issue.

if you find the cause of the issue, I would be interested to know if it's something I can fix in my converter so it doesn't happen 😅

Well removing the islands that just had a producer going into trash fixed the problem. So you can probably start there

@balmy holly i just discovered its not the bp thats the problem. its actually the producer going into a trashcan and then zooming out to island mode that crashes the game. il make a new bug report
