#[0.0.7] Sometimes space belts just stuck
31 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
I have only seen it happening on 1 tile belts. Maybe happens on others also, but not so apparent.
So there could be a lot wrong. There are some known issues with the belt visuals, however to fully understand why its stuck we need more info and perhaps the savegame?
Is it stuck because the Stacker speed has not been upgraded to match belt speed?
Perhaps other reasons why the belts back up?

would this be the same/a similar issue to https://discord.com/channels/1000343719314198548/1266046823802605629 (and https://discord.com/channels/1000343719314198548/1263976068092661883 by extension)
Everything is fully upgraded and you can see clearly on the pictures that on the left side nothing is backing up the belt
this problem happened to me several times already. every time deleting and rebuilding the space belt 100% solved the problem
and it is not just visual. everything after the bugged spacebelt has lower throughput
i can give a save if it happens again and presist on reload
found another one
Try to remove your input and output belt launcher and replace them
rebuilding spacebelt fixes the problem. never happens there again
happens sometimes, idk why tho
ye happens rarely but havent seen the same spot again
nice
i think so.

This still happens occasionally in 0.0.8, most commonly (for me) with space pipes randomly deciding not to unload any more. Saving and re-loading the game typically fixes it, and sometimes destroying and replacing the belt/pipe fixes it. It's possible I leave my game running for longer sessions than is typical.
A recent save/reload cycle revealed all the pipes in my MAMs to have gotten stuck simultaneously. On reload every single fluid (7 colors * (2 painters + 1 crystallizer) * 4 layers) train drop-off station suddenly woke up and consumed a brick of fluid out of the train depot buffer, all at the same time.
I'm starting to suspect that whatever's going wrong is caused (or exacerbated by, or not periodically automatically fixed by) long uptime.
This has been happening a lot lately. I set up a shape for my mam and go to sleep and no progress. The only fix I have is to delete everything and then undo. Perhaps a save and close and reload? Very frustrating.
I'm seeing this as well. Most recently, 3rd layer was jammed. Had to delete track section and replace.
I have found it is better to save and reload. Even the extractors can jam up like this.
save -> back to menu -> continue also unsticks things
how do we get the "fixed" tag removed from this issue?
once a dev sees the post they'll remove it
