See video. Bug requires animation to be in right position, and for you to be fast enough when replacing. I was able to get it by using 2 to select pipe immediately after deleting. Newly placed belt has no connections and no objects so should not show anything.

can also replicat on a bigger scale than in video. current use case where i noticed it was swapping direction of the space pipe

I got this too, it seems to happen when deleting a space belt/pipe at all, doesn't matter if it's been replaced or not

probably just the animation finishing before it checks what's below it again

this is due to an optimization, it only computes the shape once every second and then just plays the animation - but in the future we could add additional logic to clear the animation when a space belt gets deleted or modified
