This is with simplified chinese, but I suspect it's also happening with traditional chinese.

To reproduce, just set the language to chinese in the main menu and start a new or existing game.

Pretty severe.

No, it works just fine in english - it's an issue only in chinese, japanese, korean and thai (which is why we didn't find it yet!)
