Not sure if this is a bug that has been reported, but you will get shapes just stopping, waiting to be fed into stacker (not sure if it does with others) but there is no space for them to be fed. So they just wait there.

Other shapes will pass underneath them, as seen in screenshot.

Not a big issue, but it does mean the further down stackers will not get enough, and when you have this happening four/five times it will impact feeds.

I would have thought (like I was sure was original?) that if there is no space to fit the shape circle, it would continue to move on and not wait.

It is almost feeling like the whole thing is timed, and thus ignoring "do I have space available?" - and maybe that is correct?

Thank you @low bison - yes this is the same issue ๐Ÿ˜„ Duplicate then ๐Ÿ˜„ I couldn't find it ๐Ÿ˜„ It isn't just splitter's though - it is also other ones also - so far I have noticed it in Splitters, stackers, and combiners ๐Ÿ˜„

I may be confused. There's overlapping occurring with both stackers and combiners as well?

Stackers/Combiners/spliters/rotaters - anything that could have a "delay"

If the overlapping is occurring within the splitters that feed directly into other buildings, this would still just be from the issue with mergers since technically that is a separate building. iirc, no other buildings should be causing any overlapping.

nope you do not need to have the Splitter included in the build or even being used.
This has no splitter, and not using the splitter in the game right now.

I think there might be some confusion, as the gif shows splitters which feed into the stackers. Any part of a belt that splits off into 2-3 directions is a splitter. Same with mergers being any part of a belt where 2-3 belts combine into one.

This is different from shapez 1 where the splitter/mergers were different buildings entirely.

Indeed it is the Splitter issue, and on Squares it seems to look particularly broken.
Good news is, that the bug has been fixed for the next release: 0.0.2
