I had it disabled and maxed out my train upgrades. Even though they were now completed, they still showed up. Opening and closing the menu had no effect. The only way to get them to hide like they should was to enable the show completed and then disable it again. Idk if reloading the save fixes it.

My computer won't let me screenshot for some reason, but here's a photo of my screen.
Show completed is disabled, so vortex inputs should be hidden, but because I have just unlocked it, it doesn't update and hide it.
And closing and reopening the menu and it's still there

Now the issue is clear.
If it would go away instantly I feel there may be some other users complaining.
I guess you kind of want to see all the changes you did (i.e. upgrading to max LVL).
And it does update after reopening which is as I would expect.
Not sure if it is a bug actually. Let see if I can find an answer.

Imo, it should stay for ~5 seconds so that the user can see, and then go away.
Interesting that you managed to get it to refresh after reopening, I haven't seen that
