If standard busses let us double up, i don't see why we shouldn't be able to use that for the pipes and vortex either.

You can input on the second and also third level on the vortex 😅

Then maybe a symbol I was seeing made it unclear at the vortex? Either way the pipes being able to run more than bottom layer would be helpful for consolidation and to minimize stuff that needs rendering

Thanks, this may be added to the tutorial/usability.
Pipes can also be used on multiple layers just like belts

Those are called tunnels / tunnel platforms.
They habe limited input to compromise on using less platforms to cover more distance and take up less space than chaining platforms.

hmmm, if that's the case, would it be possible to get L variants? as in, input/output to one side of the tunnel, instead of only in line with it?
