Basically all letter keys look like this for me in the tutorial box. the W/A/S/D controls, the ctrl+C, all of them so far looked like this.
In the Hotkey Overview things look normal.

My windows display language is english but I have Hebrew also installed on my keyboard options
From further investigation and testing on my own, the problem seems to be with which language input active (left alt+shift) I try to enter the demo. If I start the demo with English enabled I see the letters, If I enter with Hebrew I see the squares

I was already thinking it could have to do with the input language settings, so it is trying to display the Hebrew letters.
